Some sad news was past to me yesterday ... Not many of you will remember JollyG he is a long standing member of DoWUK who even though doesnt play much any more still finds time to keep abreast of the goings on within the clan and donating to our funds when we are in need.

He telephoned yesterday to pass on the news that the latest Soldier to be killed in Afganistan was his newphew Richard Green. I think you will all join me in sending our condolences to Joe and his family in this difficult time.

Richards battalion have a fund raising website to help the casualties family and friends, and Joe has asked if we can place a banner on our site. Please if you have a moment take a look.

Once again Joe take care mate and remember we are always here
